Loss Of Licence
Professional pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers and even cabin attendants, rely upon the retention of their licenses to enable them to work in their chosen sphere.
The loss of a licence, through accidental injury or illness, can have a devastating effect on the individual’s livelihood.
Many health-related insurances will only respond to circumstances where the individual is totally disabled from following any paid occupation, or will be limited to payment of a monthly amount for a specified period.
Loss of Licence insurance provides a lump sum benefit in the event of the permanent cancellation, suspension or withdrawal of a license through most medical conditions or accidental injury. The amount insured may be as high as 500% of the individual’s annual income from the occupation concerned.
