Turbosure (Engine Breakdown)

Under the Hull All Risks policy any claim in respect of an engine is restricted to loss or damaged caused by theft, lightning, flood, outbreak of fire external to the engine and sudden and unexpected impact with a foreign object (FOD) requiring immediate withdrawal of the engine. DJA developed this insurance product that provides a broad form of breakdown coverage for turbine or turboprop engines, which is not usually available. Turbosure provides engine breakdown coverage as a result of mechanical breakdown or pilot induced damage to the engine.
